(Posted by: samanthajay on 2010-03-09 20:48:18)
My ipod has water damage now. the screen wont unlock, i try sliding my finger across to unlock it and it only goes a little bit. you can visibly see the water spots underneath the screen. I'm freaking out because i do not have a warranty. what should i do? |

My ipod fell in water too. Just Blow Dry it. Don't try turning it on or the inside components could be damaged. Also holding the blow dryer too close can damage it. The screen will fog up but continue to blow dry it and let it sit out for a few days. When it is completely dry charge it and it should work. |

Try to find someone that could repair it. you can easily find someone that can repair ipods on internet. i just dont know if he can repair that. if he cant you will be forced to live without an ipod.. i guest =( |

I would try to let it dry out too to see if it works. If not, you might be out of luck. Hope it works out. |
